Les Pierres Plates - Dolmen Neolithic located in Locmariaquer in French Brittany, in the Morbihan department. From 1889, the monument Historique inscribed on the list of monuments.
The monumental construction was made of 70 boulders, of which 50, including 38 load -bearing and 12 ceiling, have survived to modern times. At the entrance, oriented in the south-eastern direction, there is a vertically set boulder, unearthed and erected here in 1931 during archaeological works carried out by Zachary Le Rouzica. From the entrance, a 6 m long corridor, 1.20 m wide and 1.10 m high. At the end, the corridor suddenly turns left, turning into a long, narrow tomb chamber 16 m long and just 80 cm wide. At the corridor bending, a small branch of 2.70 m long and 1.40 m wide goes to the left. In thirteen of the load -bearing stones of the tomb there are engravings depicting anthropomorphic idols.
