St. Martin's Church
Facts and practical information
The Saint-Martin church is a Catholic parish church located in Rousseloy, France. It has a beautiful Romanesque bell tower typical of the region, but with a modern roof, and a chapel also Romanesque, with interesting capitals inside. The fourteenth-century Gothic choir-hall has two two-bay vessels, and represents the largest part of the church since its nave was removed in 1826. It is a more rustic variant of the choir-halls common in the region, with the particularity of being covered by stone roofs. The church was classified as a historical monument by order of May 3, 1927. It is affiliated with the parish of Sainte-Claire de Mouy.
