The Château du Taureau is located in the commune of Plouezoc'h, in the Bay of Morlaix in Finistère. It is a fort built, between 1690 and 1745, on a rocky islet in the open sea. Regardless of the tidal coefficient, it is never accessible on foot. It is open to the public since June 2006 and welcomes more than 20,000 visitors each year. It was classified as a historical monument by order of July 29, 1914.
