Shinde Chhatri, Pune

Shinde Chhatri, located in the bustling city of Pune, India, stands as an exquisite memorial commemorating the valiant life and legacy of Mahadji Shinde, a notable Maratha military leader of the 18th century. This architectural marvel, nestled in the heart of Wanowrie, is a fine example of Maratha heritage and has been a symbol of respect and admiration for the Maratha rule.

Constructed in 1794, Shinde Chhatri is distinguished by its Anglo-Rajasthani style of architecture, reflecting a blend of European influences with traditional Indian craftsmanship.
