Must-Visit Places and Tourist Attractions

Tourist Season & Weather

The best time to visit Goa is from mid-November to mid-March, when we can expect sunny and warm weather with cool sea breeze. The calm sea is ideal for swimming and water sports. As this is the peak of tourist season, you should remember to book your accommodation in advance, especially during the Christmas and New Year period.

April and October are transitional months. We can count on lower prices in hotels and more peaceful beaches. However, it is worth remembering that many restaurants and tourist attractions may be closed. In April the temperature rises, it is hot and humid, and the sea becomes more turbulent. In October, on the other hand, the disappearing monsoon can cause slightly more rain.

The low season falls between May and September. In May, temperatures reach 104°F, and with the beginning of June, the monsoon hits Goa. It rains almost continuously for the next three months. However, a visit during this time is the best opportunity to learn about authentic local life.
