Nagara is a historic village in the Shivamogga district of the state of Karnataka, India. It is 17 kilometres from Hosanagara or 84 kilometres from Shivamogga. This was called Bidanur or Bidnur earlier during the 16th century, this was the last capital city of Keladi rulers. ()
