Parthasarathy Temple, Chennai

The Parthasarathy Temple stands as an emblem of spiritual heritage in the bustling city of Chennai, India. The temple's name, 'Parthasarathy', translates to 'charioteer of Arjuna', reflecting Lord Krishna's role in the Hindu epic Mahabharata. The central deity, Lord Krishna, is depicted here in his role as the charioteer, and this form is unique as it showcases the deity with a mustache, a representation of his time as a charioteer in the war.
