Hongakuji Temple is the head temple of Nichiren Shu in Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. The name of the temple is Myogonzan. The main deity of the temple is the three images of Shakyamuni. It is also called "Higashi Minobu" because the remains of Nichiren that were in Kuonji Temple on Mt. Located near Kamakura Station.
