Gyoku Sendo

Facts and practical information

Gyokusendo is a limestone cave located in Maekawa, Tamaki, Nanjo City, Okinawa Prefecture. It was first fully revealed in March 1967 as a result of a survey conducted by the Academic Exploration Department of Ehime University. In April 1972, the cave was opened to the public for tourism by Nanto Co. Currently, it is part of the "Okinawa World Culture Kingdom, Gyokusendo.
