Facts and practical information

The Sint-Lambertuskerk in Veghel is a large three-aisled cross basilica in neo-Gothic style. The church was designed by Pierre Cuypers and was built between 1856 and 1862. In 1863 the church was consecrated by archbishop-metropolitan Joannes Zwijsen, after which the church was put into use. The church represents an early highlight in Cuypers' career. The Lambert parish in Veghel already existed in 1310.
