Standerdmolen Boekel, Boekel

The Standerdmolen on the Julianastraat in Boekel, in the extension of the Brede Kerkstraat, is an enclosed standerdmolen set up as a corn mill. This is the only mill in the Netherlands that has a ban on turning. This is because when the mill was purchased, only part of the original mill hill was purchased so there is a sail hanging over a part that was not sold. For this overhanging wing a "Right of Way" has been established by means of an easement. As a result, the mill has been idle for years.
