Arch of Triumph, Pyongyang

The Arch of Triumph in Pyongyang stands as a monumental testament to North Korea's national pride and revolutionary history. This imposing arch, constructed from white granite, soars to a height of 60 meters, making it one of the largest triumphal arches in the world. It was inaugurated in 1982 to honor the 70th birthday of the late leader Kim Il-sung and to commemorate his role in the resistance against Japanese occupation.
