Picui ground dove

The Picui ground dove is a delightful small bird from the Columbidae family. These doves can be found in several South American countries, including Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay, Peru, and Uruguay. Adaptable by nature, they inhabit a range of environments such as subtropical or tropical dry shrublands, moist shrublands, high-altitude shrublands, and even regions where forests have been deforested or degraded.
