When Is the Best Time To Visit Philippines?

The answer to the question of what is the best month to visit the Philippines depends on what you are interested in doing during your stay. Here you can see an overview of each month and its typical weather conditions.

Tourist Season in the Philippines

The best time to go to the Philippines is during the dry season from December to April, when most areas have beautiful, sun-filled weather and rains are sporadic. This is an excellent time for beachcombing, water sports and scuba diving. Conditions for sightseeing and trekking are also at their best during this time.

The inter-season months, May and November, are also a relatively good time to visit, admittedly the weather is not ideal and one must expect heat waves and more frequent rainfall.

The period from June to October is the rainy season being the off-season. A visit to the Philippines during these months brings some difficulties. There may be traffic problems when moving to neighboring islands, and many attractions are simply off-limits to tourists.
