Zyga the Lighthouse Keeper statue - a bronze street sculpture located in Poznań, on Grobla, within Łukasiewicz Square, next to the Old Gasworks. Zyga means Zygmunt in Poznan. In this case, he is a completely fictional character. The author of the figure is Robert Sobociński, and the unveiling took place on May 29, 2003. The creation of the work was the result of a campaign by Gazeta Wyborcza and Wielkopolska Spółka Gazownictwa titled "Let's save the lanterns", whose goal was to preserve authentic gas lanterns in the city for posterity. The lighthouse that is part of the monument comes from Słowackiego Street in Jeżyce and was thoroughly restored before being moved.
