Luboń Wielki is a popular tourist destination. At its foot are the villages of: Glisne, Krzeczów, Mszana Dolna, Raba Niżna, Rabka-Zaryte, Skomielna Biała and Tenczyn. It is separated from the nearby Szczebel by the Glisne Pass. Westward from the summit there is a long ridge in which there is Luboń Mały and it reaches as far as to Repara. The vast panorama of the Tatra Mountains, the Gorce Mountains and Babia Góra can be seen from the Surówka Glade located on this shoulder on the blue trail. All streams flowing from the Luboń Wielki massif feed the Raba River or its tributary - the Smugawka River. The Luboń Wielki massif rises almost 500 m above the valleys of these rivers.
