Church of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist - a wooden Orthodox parish church in Nowa Wola. It belongs to Grodek decanate of Białystok-Gdansk diocese of the Polish Autocephalous Orthodox Church.
The first Uniate church in Nowa Wola was built around 1743, after the parish of Nativity of St. John the Baptist was established. About 1839 it passed to the Russian Orthodox Church. The church was called the Nativity of the Mother of God, later changed to St. Michael the Archangel. The church burned down in 1915.
Earlier, in 1908, a second Orthodox church, dedicated to the Nativity of St. John the Baptist, was built. It is a wooden building, with a log construction, built on a Latin cross plan. The transept is rectangular on both sides. The presbytery is closed trilaterally with 2 side sacristies. Above the presbytery there is a tower-belfry topped with a conical octagonal cupola. Over the central part of the nave an octagonal drum topped with a tower with an onion dome. Metal roofs of the church. Each entrance is preceded by a porch. Above the porches gable roofs supported by columns.
The temple was entered in the Register of Historic Places on June 14, 1989 under the number A-290.
