Facts and practical information
Holy Trinity Church - a Roman Catholic parish church belonging to the Parczew deanery of the Diocese of Siedlce.
Construction of the temple was completed in 1797, the church was consecrated in 1804. The building represents the Classicist style with elements of late Baroque. The church is oriented and consists of one nave. The rectangular nave is topped with a semicircular apse. The walls are divided by simplified pilasters, supporting a profiled cornice running around the flat ceiling. A similar decoration is found on the outside of the church - the facades are divided by simplified pilasters with a crowning cornice around them. The three-nave façade is of a rather complex construction - above the pilasters of great order there is a pediment of triangular plan, above it there is an attic wall with a high rectangular finial. The finial is covered with a stepped top and is framed by volutes.
The interior decoration represents the uniform classicist style and was created in the late eighteenth century, including five brick altars. In the main altar there is an image of the Holy Trinity painted in 1795 by Joseph Wall, in the coping there is an interrupted tympanum with the Eye of Providence in gloria. The Eye of Providence is also located above the other altars. The two side altars have paintings also by Joseph Wall - St. Joseph with Child and St. John the Baptist and Our Lady of the Rosary. The wooden pulpit and baptismal font represent a similar motif. The body of the pulpit is supported by the figure of a kneeling angel, above it there is a canopy with a vase. The baptismal font in the form of a classicistic vase is supported by a kneeling angel. Wooden confessionals represent late Baroque style, benches - Rococo, organs - Baroque and Classicism. The church equipment also includes a classicist monstrance made in a goldsmith's workshop in Warsaw.
