Lažna Skala / Łaźne Skały

Łaźne Skały or Łaźnia Skała - a peak in the main ridge of Małe Pieniny between Załazie and Cyrhle peaks. Other sources give the height of the peak as 775 m above sea level. The Polish-Slovakian border crosses it. It creates a long and narrow ridge, which on the southern, Slovak side and on the eastern side is undercut by steep walls about 25 m high. On the walls there is an interesting flora of limestone flora, in spring the rock marmots bloom here in large numbers. The summit is built of grey horny and calcareous limestone.
The name of the peak comes from the Łazy field located next to it, which was created as a result of burning forests. On older maps the peak was also marked as Łaźnie Skały or Leśna Skałka; the priest Walenty Gadowski called it Kamienna Góra. The peak is covered mainly with beeches and bushes.
From the rare plants found in Poland, the occurrence of, among others, the sharp-tailed spurge, black iris and Styrian panicle.
