Church of the Protection of the Mother of God - a wooden Orthodox parish church in Klokavice. It belongs to Przemyśl decane of Przemyśl diocese of the Polish Autocephalous Orthodox Church.
The former Greek Catholic temple, until World War II belonged to the deanery of Nizankow.
Built on the site of an older, wooden church in 1856-1860, renovated in 1903. Next to the church is a 19th century wooden bell tower.
Since 1968 the church serves a restored Orthodox parish.
On the basis of the Act of 17 December 2009 on the regulation of the legal status of certain properties remaining in the possession of the Polish Autocephalous Orthodox Church, the church became the sole property of the Church.
In the second decade of the 21st century a partial renovation of the church was carried out, including strengthening the foundations, replacing the foundations, replacing part of the planking and tin elements, impregnating the walls. Further works are planned, including replacement of the roof.
The church and bell tower were entered in the register of monuments on October 22, 1990 under the number A-373.
