Rezerwat Szczytniak

Szczytniak Nature Reserve - a forest reserve within the Jeleniowski Landscape Park, located in Waśniów municipality, Ostrowiec county, Świętokrzyskie province. It is located north of the top of Szczytniak, the highest peak of the Jeleniowskie Range.
Area: 6.16 ha, Year of establishment: 1994, Establishing document: Ordinance of the Ministry of Environmental Protection of 31.12.1993; M.P. of 1994 No. 5, item 44, WKP evidential number: 050, Nature of the reserve: partial, Object of protection: exposition of Upper Cambrian quartzites, gołoborze, fragment of a primeval beech and fir forest.
The tree stand is dominated by beech, with fir and sycamore admixtures.
The Edmund Massalski Main Swietokrzyski Trail from Gołoszyce to Kuźniaki and the black tourist trail from Nowa Słupia to Szczytniak pass through the reserve.
