Lake Cișmigiu
Lake Cișmigiu is a lake in the center of Bucharest, Sector 1, in Cișmigiu Gardens. The lake has a surface of 29.500 m², a length of 1.3 km, a width of 50 meters and a depth of 1–2 meters. During winter the lake is dried artificially and a skate park is organized on the lake bed.
Lacul Lebedelor
Lacul Lebedelor is an artificial lake in the center of Bucharest, Sector 1, in Cișmigiu Gardens, close to Lake Cișmigiu. It is reserved to water birds. Over 90 species of birds and animals can be seen on another lake in Bucharest, Lake Văcărești.
Lacul Morii
Lacul Morii is the largest lake in Bucharest, with an area of 246 ha. The lake is approximately 6 km from the center of Bucharest and is located between the Polytechnic University of Bucharest neighborhood to the east, the Crângași and Giulești districts to the north, and the Militari district to the south.

Lake Fundeni is a man-made lake on the Colentina River in Bucharest, Sector 2. It has a surface of 35 ha, length of 2.1 km, width of 200–800 m, a depth between 1 and 5 meters, and a volume of 800,000 m³.
Lake Băneasa
Lake Băneasa is a reservoir on the Colentina River at Băneasa in Sector 1 of Bucharest, Romania. The lake has a length of 3 kilometers, a width between 50 meters and 400 meters, a surface area of 40 hectares, a depth between 1 meter and 3 meters, a volume of 630,000 cubic meters and a debit of 2.5 m/s.
Lake Văcărești
Lake Văcărești is a lake in the south of Bucharest, Sector 4. The lake has a surface of 140.5 hectares. It is now part of the Văcărești Nature Park, a protected zone of nature. Over 100 species of wild birds and animals live in this area. The area is nicknamed Bucharest Delta.
Lake Dâmbovița
Dâmbovița Lake is a lake situated on Dâmbovița River in Bucharest and Chiajna, west of Morii Lake and bordering that lake. It has an area of 55 ha. The lake is 3 km from the center of Bucharest and is located between Morii Lake to the east, Giulești district to the north, Chiajna commune and Roșu Forest to the south.
