Monument to Minin and Pozharsky, Moscow

In the heart of Moscow, Russia, stands a significant historical monument that pays homage to two Russian national heroes—Kuzma Minin and Prince Dmitry Pozharsky. This bronze statue, situated in the iconic Red Square, honors their instrumental roles in leading Russian forces during the Time of Troubles to liberate Moscow from Polish invaders in 1612.

The Monument to Minin and Pozharsky was unveiled in 1818, becoming the first monumental sculpture of national heroes in Russia.
