Needle in Osterwa - a slim rock needle with a height of approx. 1890 m a.s.l. or 1872 m located in the western slopes of the Massif of Osterwa falling towards the Mięguszowiecka Valley in the Slovak part of the High Tatras. The needle in Osterwa is located in the upper part of the rock rib, which falls west from the massif of Osterwa. From the top, it is separated by an osterwa, she is separated by a high saddle under the needle, and from the northwest with her a small needle in Osterwa is separated by the nursery saddle under the needle. No marked tourist routes lead to the top of the needle in Osterwa, it is a popular climbing peak frequented by mountaineers for training purposes.
The Polish and Slovak names of the needle in Osterwa come directly from Osterwa, while the German name and her Hungarian calcter were given by Ernst Dubke to part of his wife.
