Facts and practical information

The Church of St. Elizabeth with the monastery of Elizabeth is a set of Baroque sacral buildings in the center of Bratislava.

Like several other church buildings in the capital of Slovakia from the first half of the 18th century, the complex of the church with the monastery of the Order of St. Elizabeth is associated with the generous activity of the Archbishop and the Hungarian Priema Imrich Esterházy. The Church of St. Elizabeth, built from 1739 to 1745, is associated with two artists-an important Austrian architect Franz Anton Pilgram and his compatriot, painter Paul Troger.
