Veľká Vidlová veža, Tatra National Park
Facts and practical information
The great peak of the forks - an outstanding peak with a height of 2522 m a.s.l. in the ridge ridge, in the Slovak High Tatras. It is located between the western peak of the fork separated by a deep pass in the fork and the eastern peak of the fork separated by a shallower wyl of the pass in the fork.
The top of the great peak of the Forks is the highest object between Łomnica and Kieżmarski Szczyt. Walls falling to both the Wild Valley and the cemetery in the Łomnicka Valley are very clumsy. The north-west wall drops about 500 m to the lower part of the copper valley and is cut with two copper benches. It is limited by the gulfs converging from the Kieżmarska Pass and from the pass in the fork and the features constituting their extension. At the bottom of the wall there is a trifle - a longitudinal terrace formed by three urban boules. Above her, there is a copper shell with a dark cliff. The southern wall is about 240 m and ends with a wide west above the cemetery.
The peak is perfectly visible from the Łomnicki pond and from the queue leading to the top of Łomnica. No marked tourist routes lead to the great peak of the forks, the top is only available to mountaineers. The simplest road leads to the top from the Pass in the forks and celebrates the ridge on the cemetery side. Roads running through both walls are difficult.
The great peak of the fork is sometimes called forks, although the name is not precise. To distinguish between forks, the whole ridge is called, and the tip is a great peak of forks.
