Żabi Koń

Żabi Horse - the lowest peak in the ridge separating the Fish Potok Valley from the Żabia Mięguszowiecka Valley.

The peak is located in the main ridge of the Tatra Mountains between Rysy and Żabia Turnia Mięguszowiecka in a beef ridge. The eastern ridge of the frog of the horse is divided into two episodes. The upper of them is more steep, the lower one is milder and is called the lower horse. On the southern side of the wall of the frog, the horse falls to the valley under the frog horse, north to the boiler under Rysami. In the southern wall there is a turnician with the Slovak name Vežička v Žabom horses.

It is clearly visible from Morskie Oko as a squat, granite fin. Seen from the east or west has the appearance of a sharp spire.

The peak was considered too difficult to conquer for a long time. All Taternickie roads leading to him are difficult. Despite the low -impressive height, the frog horse has long been one of the most popular Tatra turnes among mountaineers, and its northern wall was considered the most difficult in the Tatras for some time. From the south, it is 120 meters high, from the northern 150 m.
