Bavški Grintavec, Triglav National Park
Facts and practical information
Bavška Grintavec is a mountain in the Julian Alps and with 2347 m highest peak in the southern part of the Jalovca group. His three ridges, which end at his summit, rise above the valleys of Bavšica, the last Trenta and Trenta. The longest southwest ridge, which is the longest, begins at the town of Kal-Koritnica in the Bovec basin and is folded through the pissed pork top to Škrbina in Brda. From there, it rises more steeply across the top of Brdo and Mali Grintavac all the way to the Main Vrh. It descends from it in the same direction the northeast ridge across the Skravnik to the Sadla Velika Gate, which separates it from Srebrnjak and Trenta Pelc. The shortest northern ridge descends steeply to the nearby Kanja saddle, which separates it from the longer Pelce ridge and the central Jalovc group.
