Comic World

Comic World is an exhilarating anime festival organized by S.E.Techno, taking place in South Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. In South Korea, it is the largest anime convention, often compared to Japan's Comiket due to the country's scarce amateur circle gatherings. The festival is hosted in Seoul and Busan, although the Daegu Comic World is currently on hiatus.

Since its inception in May 1999, Comic World has grown into the preeminent event of its kind in Korea, drawing a vast number of circles and visitors. The festival boasts a rich array of attractions, including exhibition booths, item lockers, dressing rooms, and a variety of engaging activities. Attendees can participate in illustration and cosplay contests, singing competitions, and even meet some of their favorite manhwa artists.

Seoul Comic World is held monthly, whereas Busan Comic World takes place every two months. A distinctive feature of Comic World is its focus on profitability, enabling it to host frequent, large-scale events that attract massive crowds. Circles looking to reserve a booth must act promptly, as spots are quickly taken at the conclusion of each festival, underscoring the event's immense popularity.
