Cordel, Saja-Besaya Natural Park

Cueto Cordel or Pico Cordel is a folded mountain of Cenozoic origin located in the eastern part of the Cordel mountain range, in Cantabria. It is located 3 kilometres from the village of Brañavieja and 4 kilometres from the village of Abiada in a straight line. The exact location of its summit in the ETRS89 system is 43°2′54″N 4°19.27" W. Administratively, it is located between the Cantabrian municipality of Hermandad de Campoo de Suso and the Mancomunidad de Campoo-Cabuérniga, on the southwestern boundary of the Saja-Besaya Natural Park.
It has an altitude of 2061 meters, being the easternmost two thousand of the Cantabrian mountain range. Towards the east of the aforementioned mountain range, the next mountain to surpass the Cordel is the San Millán peak, in the Demanda mountain range.
