Plaza Mayor, Benavente

The Plaza Mayor of Benavente is located in the center of the city of Benavente, in the province of Zamora, Spain.

Both the Plaza Mayor and its surroundings, is one of the areas of this city in which are concentrated the realization of most social events, such as the Veguilla, the Toro Enmaromado, the festive beginnings, the fairs of ceramics, peppers, etc. but also for being an enclave within the environment of qualified historical heritage, forming part of it as BIC by the proximity to the churches of San Juan among others, reasons why it is usually a very busy area.

Also, it is currently considered the commercial engine of Benavente, since in its surroundings are located the busiest pedestrian shopping streets of this city.
