Refugi de Saboredo
Facts and practical information
Saboredo hut is a mountain hut in the Pyrenees, at 2310 m altitude, in the cirque of Saboredo, facing north, in the region of the Aran Valley.
The refuge is located on a hill that separates the lakes of Baish and deth Miei, from the higher lake of Saboredo, very close to the Needles of Saboredo, at the head of the Ruda valley, where the GR-211-4 long-distance footpath passes.
It is part of the Carros de Foc route, a 55 km hike that covers all the shelters that are inside the Aiguas Tortas and Sant Maurici Lake National Park. This crossing is between the Colomers refuge and the Amitges refuge. Both can be reached through the pass of Ratera.
