The church of La Anunciación or La Compañía in Santander was declared an Asset of Cultural Interest on 11 November 1992. It is the best example of Renaissance architecture in Cantabria, an architectural style of scarce implantation in the region. It is located in Juan de Herrera street, near the Plaza Porticada and the cathedral.
