"Blossoming Chestnut Branches" is a beautiful painting by the renowned Vincent van Gogh, created in May 1890 during his final year in Auvers-sur-Oise. This work became part of a dramatic narrative when it was stolen from the Foundation E.G. Bührle gallery in Zürich on February 10, 2008. The theft involved four paintings, but fortunately, "Blossoming Chestnut Branches" and another stolen artwork were recovered just nine days later in a parked car in Zürich. Both paintings were returned to the gallery undamaged, much to the relief of art enthusiasts worldwide.
