Facts and practical information
The Krummturm is a medieval fortified tower in the city of Solothurn on the banks of the Aare River in Switzerland. Although the name suggests a crooked building, this is not true. Only the roof appears crooked from most sides. The peculiar shape of the roof is the result of the irregular pentagon of the tower's ground plan.
