The Lancashire Witches Walk is a hauntingly picturesque hiking trail that weaves through the scenic countryside of Lancashire, United Kingdom. This trail is steeped in history, spanning approximately 51 miles, and is designed to commemorate the tragic story of the Pendle witches, who were tried and executed for witchcraft in 1612.

As hikers embark on the trail, they will journey from the Pendle Heritage Centre in Barrowford to Lancaster Castle, where the witches were held and eventually sentenced to death. The path traverses a varied landscape, offering walkers the chance to experience the rugged beauty of the Pendle Hill area, the serene banks of the River Ribble, and the rolling fields and pastures characteristic of rural Lancashire.

The walk is marked by ten sculptured waymarkers, each representing one of the ten individuals who were executed. These markers serve as poignant reminders of the region's somber history, while also providing resting points for reflection.
