MAMA is a contemporary art gallery located in Los Angeles, California. As its name implies, MAMA fosters and exhibits contemporary artworks executed in a wide variety of media including visual installations, film, video, automata, but not excluding 'traditional' forms such as painting. A number of its projects and programmes are rooted in popular digital, video, and street culture. The physical space closed in 2017 following a partnership dispute, and the gallery became AB Contemporary by Adarsha Benjamin, an independent art advising company based in Malibu, California. ()
