The St. Barbara-Gottesacker is a Catholic-denominational cemetery in Linz. It is run by the St. Barbara-Gottesackerstiftung, which is headed by the respective city parish priest of Linz.
The cemetery has an area of approximately 12 hectares and houses about 20,000 graves. It is located directly south of the Westbahn in the Bulgariplatz district and is divided into two parts by the busy Dinghoferstraße. In addition to the Catholic one, there is also a section with Jewish graves. Since 1860, about 180,000 deceased have been buried on the site. It has been open to people of all denominations or no denomination for quite some time.
