The castle ruins Windhaag, also called Old Castle Windhaag, Veste Windhaag or Windhag I, is the ruin of a hilltop castle at 500 m above sea level about 250 m east of the center of the municipality of Windhaag bei Perg in the district of Perg in the Mühlviertel in Upper Austria. In contrast to the New Castle Windhaag, the Old Castle has been preserved as a ruin. Spelling Windhag is an older, Windhaag a newer.
