Großdöllner Hof
Facts and practical information
The Großdöllnerhof is an approximately 400-year-old, listed Mühlviertel three-sided farm in the Mühlviertel Nature Park in the municipality of Rechberg, which is now used as an open-air museum.
The Großdöllnerhof Museum and Event Center is located on the Plenkerberg at an altitude of about 700 m. The building is masoned in the technique of the Steinbloßmauer, which is typical for the Mühlviertel. In this masonry technique, the outer walls are stone-faced by unhewn granite blocks and divided by whitewashed mortar zones.
