Pöckstein Castle is an Early Classicist castle at the entrance to Carinthia's Gurk Valley. The former bishop's residence is considered the most important classicist building in Carinthia.

The castle is located in the municipality of Strasbourg at the confluence of the Metnitz and Gurk rivers, which is why the village is also called Pöckstein-Zwischenwässern.
