The Roman Catholic parish church of Guttaring is dedicated to St. Rupert and stands on the western edge of Guttaring. It was first mentioned in 1160. In 1562 the parish of Guttaring counted seven daughter churches. Today, the branch churches of Deinsberg, St. Gertraud and the pilgrimage church of Maria Hilf belong to the parish.
