Facts and practical information
The Duisburg Hut is a refuge of the Duisburg Section of the German Alpine Club. It is located at an altitude of 2572 m a.s.l. in the Goldberg Group in Carinthia, Austria in a valley basin at the end of the Fraganter Valley. It is the starting point for ski tourers in early summer. In summer, easy hikes are possible from the easily accessible hut as well as challenging, high-alpine glacier and round tours. Today, the area surrounding the hut is characterized by the reservoirs of the Fragant power plant group as well as the Mölltal Glacier ski area.
