The Friesenberghaus is a category I refuge of the Berlin Section of the German Alpine Club. It is located in the Zillertal Alps, in the Austrian province of Tyrol in the area of the municipality of Finkenberg, at an altitude of 2498 m above sea level and is a stage destination of the Berliner Höhenweg. The house is located directly above the Friesenbergsee between the Hohe Riffler and the Gefrorenen Wandspitzen. Since November 2011, the hut bears the environmental seal of approval for alpine club huts. The house is part of the DAV initiative "So schmecken die Berge" and "Mit Kindern auf Hütten".
