Corsario Beach is located between the neighborhoods Pituaçu and Boca do Rio, in the city of Salvador.
Simply called Corsário, this beach receives many surfers, because it has an excellent sea for waves, one of the best beaches for surfing and bodyboarding. It also receives regular visitors who, because of this, form real differentiated nuclei. Distinct groups are common there, many of which do not mix, something that is usually even respected by the owners of the beachfront huts.
Corsário is one of the beaches that form a continuous strip of sand all the way to Itapuã beach - whose limits are external to the coastal strip, since they effectively form a single beach.
It has as characteristic the great extension of sand until the water and strong waves because of the agitated sea, as well as it is one of the soteropolitan beaches situated in open sea, and not to the Bay of All Saints.
