Youmian

Youmian, a popular type of Chinese noodle from Southern China, particularly prevalent in Hong Kong and Guangdong, has woven itself into the culinary traditions of Shanghai, Malaysia, Singapore, and numerous overseas Chinese communities. These noodles are acclaimed for their delicate thinness and are often enriched with eggs. One notable variety is 全蛋麵 (Cantonese Jyutping: cyun4 daan6 min6; Pinyin: quán dàn miàn), which translates to "whole egg noodles." This type of noodle is a staple in East and Southeast Asia, where significant Chinese populations reside.
