The main event occurs every summer, with a special Winter edition held in November in Zlín. In a heartfelt tribute to the late Ronnie James Dio, the main stage has been named in his honor since 2010.
Typically spanning several days in July, the festival boasts a consistent lineup and schedule. However, the 2020 edition was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, postponing the 18th edition to July 2021.
