The construction of the foundation began in 1996 in the areas of the former limestone quarry and in its immediate vicinity. The quarry operated from 1860 to 1920. Then waste was stored here, and part of the area was used as a football field. Since 1996, the area began, and the first plantings took place in 1998. Currently, there are about 1,200 plant species.

Representatives of fauna are, among others: teeth of Karliczek, Forest Caid, Ordinary Gorge, Green toad, wood ricketecard, mountain buckwheat, an ordinary sheet, combing sheet, as well as insects: Blue Siwoszek, Field Trzyszek, Server Sertor and the Snail of Candidula Unifasciata. About 600 fossils are visible on the rocks within the garden. Some rock walls are popular among climbers - the oldest climbing roads were designated here in 1934.
