Elling Church, located in the village of Elling, about 5 km northwest of Frederikshavn, was built in the first half of the 13th century and is the oldest church in Elling Parish.
The church is built of monks' stone, whitewashed and has a tiled roof. The church belongs to the group of churches known architecturally as the Vendsyssels brick group.
The church contains several old and beautiful effects, including a nave, which in 1757 was donated to the church by Anne Maries Rasmusdatter Holm and Christian Thomsen from Elling, and the pulpit, which is from 1766, donated by Frederik Wiirnfeld to Lerbæk and Skårupgård.
