The Grave lighthouse, on the Pointe de Grave, is located on the south side of the mouth of the Gironde estuary, in the commune of Le Verdon-sur-Mer. The Cordouan Lighthouse and Lighthouses and Beacons Museum is located in the premises adjacent to the tower. The lighthouse has been registered as a historical monument since November 6, 2009.
